to help you improve your Madden game. Next up is Greyking with a quick tip about audibles.
Pair Your Audibles!
It is good planning to set your audibles up
offline and have them set to your preferred playbook both on offense
and defense.
On offense, if you have a preferred basic
running play out of a particular formation (let's say HB Dive), you
should consider setting a play action pass, and a toss out of the same
formation. This allows you to make a call at the line based on what
you see in the defense at the line of scrimmage without giving away to
the defense that you are switching to a particular play.
On
defense, you should also consider pairing your audibles so that you can
rotate among a Man, Zone and Blitz from the same formation. This
allows you not only to attempt to confuse the coverage if your opponent
is reading man vs. zone, but also allows you to switch coverages
without alerting your defender while defending the hurry up offense at
the end of a half.
