Quick Set Up:
Step 1. Flip the defense.
Step 2. Shift the linebackers to the right.
Step 3. Hot route the ROLB to blitz.

This set up from the 4-3 Under Mike Fire brings A Gap heat from the MLB. To get this heat, we hot route another defender to blitz, which weakens the pass coverage. We first flip the defense.

First, we shift the linebackers to the right.

Next, we hot route the ROLB to blitz.

Here is the set up looks like from the top down view.

Notice the C and RG block WDT and SDT. The MLB shoots through the A Gap between them.

The reason we hot route the ROLB to blitz is to make sure the LG doesn't block the MLB.

In the screen shot above, the MLB now has clean shot at the QB.
