Not only is it playoff time in the real life NFL, but we're about to start the post-season in the EA Tiburon Madden Marketing League as well.  The Washington Redskins magic may have ended in Seattle this past Saturday, but I'm determined to break my streak of human opponent losses when I host Green Bay later this week.

Given my inability to defeat any human opponents during the regular season, I'm probably not the most deserving of a playoff spot.  I'm taking my last chance at success seriously though and have put in a bit of time over the weekend to make sure I have a decent shot in my first round game.

My opponent has the hottest team going into the playoffs.  He dropped his first four games and has won twelve straight (including one win against me) to finish the regular season.  Even though his record is better than mine, I'm hosting him because his twelve wins wasn't quite enough to catch the NFC Champion Bears.

I'm not expected to win my game, so there's no real pressure for me to make something happen.  But I want to get the "human opponent monkey" off my back and prove that I can win a game that matters.  I'll have the full recap next week, so stay tuned until then.  As always, feel free to send any comments, feedback, etc to footballcommunity@ea.com .
